Didactic Mine Makes the First Steps to Bring Youth Entrepreneurship and Sustainability to Youngsters Through Youth Work in France

The project foresees the publication of an e-book with workshops for different target groups ranging in age from 6 to 30.

Rennes (France) has been the scenario to do the preliminary test of the activities of the project Didactic Mine, which brings together youth entrepreneurship and sustainability with a focus also on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by the United Nations.

In the city of Bretagna, the youth workers and representatives of the different associations involved have tried them in an international environment with people of different ages since one of the outputs of the project is the realization of an e-book that will contain the workshops and games suitable for different target groups; from children of 6 years old to adults of 30. It is crucial to getting feedback and improving the initial work, as the goal is to make the activities and games as educative, engaging, and immersive as possible. The e-book will be a free online tool for all youth workers and facilitators who want to discuss these topics with different generations and work on the project’s objectives.

Didactic Mine aims to promote youth entrepreneurship and sustainability among youngsters, especially in the social field, support local communities, and boost innovation. It does this by building the capacity of youth workers who will bring skills and knowledge about these topics by carrying out different workshops. Some topics found in the e-book are social entrepreneurship, circular economy, sustainable production and consumption patterns, and so on.

The Sardinian association TDM 2000 coordinates the project, and the partners involved are from different countries: the Institute of Entrepreneurship Development from Greece, CORBİZ Corporate Business Solutions Ltd from Turkey, Media Creativa from Spain, NGO Iuventa from Serbia, Intercultura from France, and the Comune of Cinisello Balsamo from Italy.

The workshops will be tested again in the countries where the partners are based, including Cagliari, and the project will continue until February 2024.
