In the heart of Rennes, France, a training activity handled between June 10th and 16th, 2023, marked a significant milestone for the Didactic Mine project. This initiative, centered around entrepreneurial education and social entrepreneurship, embarked on an ambitious journey to revolutionize the way young educators and youth workers engage with and acquire entrepreneurial skills.
The core objective of this training was to pilot test the Didactic Mine project’s first major result—an E-book encompassing 30 didactic activities tailored for entrepreneurial education. Fourteen enthusiastic participants, representing Italy, Spain, Turkey, Greece, France, and Serbia, met in Rennes, embracing the opportunity to not only learn from this innovative resource but also to bring it to life through practical application.
Each day of the training was a new adventure. One participant each day took the lead, executing the activities from the E-book for the group. This method was not only about understanding the content but also about testing its efficacy in real-world scenarios. Among the notable activities, IED’s trainers were executed the activities ‘teaching entrepreneurship’ and creating a ‘paper factory,’ exercises that challenged the participants to think innovatively and act entrepreneurially.
The training also served as a ground for gathering critical feedback. This input was instrumental for the project partners, who could then tailor the educational material to better suit the actual needs of the target audience. It was a process of continuous improvement, ensuring that the Didactic Mine project remained relevant and impactful.
The Didactic Mine training in Rennes was more than just a week-long event; it was a catalyst for change and development in the field of entrepreneurial education. By bridging practical learning with theoretical knowledge, the project has set a basis for future educational endeavors. With the successful completion of this training, the Didactic Mine project stands to inspire and empower the youth of today to become the entrepreneurs of tomorrow.
